OUR STORY
Founded in 1975, today Open Door is an open and affirming, non-denominational community that serves the Fort Wayne community. Since its founding, Open Door has had a particular focus on ministering to the LGBT community.
Who we are is best explained by our mission statement: “We believe in God as expressed through the life and teaching of Jesus Christ. Open Door Chapel is a safe, loving, accepting place to worship God as we strive for righteousness and peace within our lives and community.”
Open Door Chapel meets weekly on Sunday evenings at 7pm at the St. Mary Magdala Spiritual Center, 2800 Rolston St., Fort Wayne, IN 46805. Each week's service includes a message from a volunteer speaker.
